Marta Samuel is a Suzuki violin and viola teacher. She graduated from Addis Ababa University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music, specializing in Viola performance in 2006. Right after she graduated, she was directly assigned as a teacher in the school for 10 years, where she also has worked as a director of the school for 2 years. Throughout her teaching years, she also accumulated her performance skills by participating in different solo concerts, quartets, string ensemble groups and orchestras. Currently, she is a member of DC Strings Orchestra as a viola player. She also acquired her M.A in Multicultural and Multilingual Education from Addis Ababa University. In order to advance her music-teaching skill, she took the Higher Diploma Program from College of Performing and Visual Arts/AAU.

Currently, Marta teaches violin, viola and piano and has a passion for teaching and loves working with students of all ages.
