Noah Bowman
Noah is a multi-instrumentalist musician with deep roots in the old-time tradition. He’s known for his unique fiddle interpretations and great facility with clawhammer banjo and old-time guitar, having won second place in clawhammer banjo at the 2017 Deer Creek fiddler’s convention. He’s a regular performer in the area, primarily playing with the Ellicott City-based string band Geraldine. In lessons, Noah finds out his students’ interests and provides them the tools they need to succeed. He provides his students with sheet music or tablature along with recordings for practice.
Noah teaches fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitar in Takoma Park.
